It was deep enough to need a couple of stitches. Was told to keep off the foot to give it time to mend. Took the week off and going back today fir the bandage to be removed and the stitches should fall off.
First sick leave I have had in 6 years.

Went on a staycation (the locals can taste a hotel setting for the weekend, after 3 pm Friday until noon Sunday).
My neighbour took a btl of wine for us to drink. While about to move it from the fridge door, it fell out and shattered and my foot got cut.

I am staying put in Barbados with threats of hurricanes from now onwards until November. The sun is shining, a cooling breeze and the birds are singing, what more can a "sick" person ask for.
