Actually it's working ..... I only needed that little push from Feudia to pull myself together and invest in the little star - it's ONLY about € 10 Euro for one year ..... I think many will do it now. I have played Wordfeud tournaments for 4 years now without paying anything ;)

Thanks Noddy and Juzzee for enlightening us on how this thing works. The bottom line they should have informed us before doing it with an explanation, surely that is only the polite thing to do. We cannot stop them, but we could have been informed. I think some of the intended money they should use to hire a PR person as their lack of communication stinks.

Guys just to put you right....Premium membership on this site has nothing to do with VIP membership in the Boardrush App/game and visa versa.

The restrictions to how many tournaments you can enter on this site applies to anyone who has not paid for Premium Membership on this site regardless if you have VIP or not in Boardrush.

The game Boardrush is not connected to this site at all and was created by a company called Monkeybin.

A brief history of this site....it was originally created for Wordfeud Players as a place to go to create tournaments with family and friends who also played Wordfeud.

Later they added Mindfeud (Boardrush's predecessor) and Kruduko to their list of games for which users could create tournaments.

Around a year and half ago this site introduced their subscription service 'Premium Membership' and restricted tournament sign ups non Premium members.

When I asked them why they they had introduced the subscription I was told it was to help pay for the servers and staff needed to keep this site running running. Running a website like this that requires databases to hold all the scores entered by us and programmers to write and maintain the algorithms to get the tournaments to work as they do costs a lot of money.

They also told me the restrictions for non Premium members was introduced to stop players creating multiple accounts/usernames

....and then signing up for tournaments with all those different usenames. This was a big issue in Wordfeud tournaments at the time as I'm sure Nodmirt will confirm.

As to why they have now restricted non premium members to 1 sign up now, I can only assume that they need more money!!

It all was my fault, i dont differentiate between VIP and premium, sorry
And actually have been thinking of not paying, as the site is out of roder and absolutely no respons ever (keeping a site running, allowing downtime i excess is not all that expensive), and max one will make US paying have less to play with ?

You can be premium on feudia without being VIP...it's actually the cheaper option but again is introduced with no notice and when was the last time anyone got any interaction from the management?
It does mean that we will need to look carefully at the number of open games that are available so we dont end up with lots of half full games.
This has nothing to do with monkeybin who produce boardrush it is solely a feudia initiative.

They are going to price themselves out. We have a lot of non VIP players and by extension they are not PREMIUM. Playing in just one tournament is no fun. It is going to put our team games as they are right now obsolete. We have some players not registered for our team game and it might be that for all we know right now. Shame on Feudia just changing the rules without any notice to the players, not even a month, but immediately.

Hi girls, thanks Pet. As VIP player I too noticed a restriction in entering tournaments. Never had any trouble before. Have no idea how many a VIP can enter, I think not more than 5 or 6.

changed at the beginning of the week. When the site went off line that was why. We used to be able to be in 3 now it is only one. I agree..it will make tournaments difficult to fill as their are a large number of non premium players.

I agree with you. When non premium players are in our team games it will be difficult for them. The majority of our players are not premium players and for you to be premium you have first to be VIP, this is daylight robbery as far as I am concerned.

no you can be premium on feudia and not VIP on boardrush....once a game starts we are free to enter another but only one that is waiting to start. Is It worth paying the £7.58 to be premium though?
On a more positive note I did only receive one invite from pet this time not the usual 30.

It's not non VIP boardrush players it's non premium feudia members. We can now only be in one open tournament at a time. ..unless we pay.
